Chapter 24.02 CLASSIFICATION OF LAND
Section 24.02.030 State responsibility areas.
For properties that lie within state responsibility areas (SRA) for fire protection as established by the State Board of Forestry, State Fire Safe Standards apply (PRC 4290). Some of the state standards are more restrictive than the county development standards contained herein. Where the state standards apply, projects shall be designed to meet the more restrictive elements of this title or the state standards when and as required by the agency. The applicant shall also comply with any mitigations recommended by the fire department of jurisdiction when and as required by the agency. A summary of the State Fire Safe Standards is available from the agency or the local fire department. (Ord. 3181 5 (part), 1994)
